Navodaya Kannada Koota (NKK) of Philadelphia is a non-profit organization established to nurture, promote and propagate the language, culture and heritage of Karnataka, India amongst members of organization in Philadelphia and suburban areas. NKK provides an avenue to develop and promote friendship and respect, among members of the organization. NKK organizes social, cultural, festival and sporting events for members and their friends and families.
NKK supports charitable organizations in Philadelphia (Pennsylvania) area and Karnataka in India. Baking and Sponsor a Family at Ronald McDonald House (RMH) for the family of children who get treated at CHOP, Walkathon to raise funds for AIM for SEWA, Swami Vivekananda Youth Movement, flood relief efforts are some of the charities NKK participates.
NKK Hosts Yugadi (April), Ganesh Pooja (September), Picnic (June), and Deepavali / Rajyothsava (November) every year

We offer classroom and experience-based learning of Indian languages, traditions, festivals and our history for children to help raise them as strong, content, emotionally mature and happy individuals and successful leaders.
